Hope for the Children of the Street - HCS
VOLUNTEERS of FAITH...
WORKING TOGETHER to HELP SAVE the STREET CHILDREN
HCS is an 501(c)(3) non-profit religious charity. It is completely supported by it's board of Directors, churches, and individuals. HCS is a new work (just under 10 years old) Most of what has been accomplished so far has been brought about by a lot of trust, prayer and faith in God, along with a tremendous amount of sweat, and hard work. Pr. Jack and Penny, the founding missionaries, along with the many volunteers and supporters, have accomplished amazing results, with very little resources.
In Brazil, Jack and Penny have succeeded in planting the seeds of change in the small community of St. Antonio where the second HCS Boys home was built and now nears completion.
But now they need your help to move forward. Pr. Jack and Penny can no longer fulfill all the responsibilities needed by the Boys home. They are now prayerfully asking for Qualified and Willing individuals to join with them in this work. A knowledge of the Portuguese language is a must. HCS will provide language training for all teachers and positions in brazil. If you feel God is calling you to serve in a foreign country, he can surely make a way for you to serve. Jack and Penny started with hardly no support or funds. The most important thing needed is a strong desire to serve God, and a willingness to do what ever it takes. HCS is still in it's infancy so these positions at present, are strictly voluntary. All personal support is the responsibility of the worker. HCS can help you with letters and ways in which you can earn your support. Do not be discouraged, if it is God will, He will make a way.

NOTE: The fundraiser and grant seeker positions, will receive a commission on all funds collected for HCS.
