I remember how it was before Jesus. I was lost, I was alone, and I was miserable
and afraid. I called out, Jesus was waiting. I was amazed,... Had He always been
waiting? He came to me,.. He spoke to me,.. His words went deep into my heart. I
realized He knew me for who I really was, and in spite of my sin, He loved me. I
asked, and He forgave me, for He told me He had paid my price. I believed Him,
and immediately was filled with Hope and Joy! Forgiveness, I had never felt this
before, How it must have cost Him. Then He set my feet firm on the Rock of His
Payment and I learned to trust Him, To love Him, to stay near Him. He sent me to
His Children, the church. I eagerly became part of, for I had been apart from to
long. My new family Loved me, and I learned to trust them, love them. He filled
me up through my new family until I over flowed, and then I had to go, go out to
share His love with others. Jesus saved me on July 27th 1985, He has given me more
than I have time to share, My wonderful wife, my new church family, so many
friends, and now He has called my wife and I be part of His ministry here in
Brazil with these desperate youth, the street children of Brazil.
All of this started with the best gift of all..... A loving relationship with Himself that nothing or no one can take from me. From lost to saved.....from emptiness to fullness.....It's hard to believe, but from drunk to Pastor/Missionary in Brazil.
HE DID IT ALL. AND ALL THE GLORY AND PRAISE I GIVE TO HIM.
You may be here and feel that God has forgotten you, but He hasn't. The Bible tells us that God has written your name in the palm of His hand. He is truly a God who can make a way when there seems to be no way.
