Photo Gallery

Below is a mixed collection of our photos. I have over 1000 pic's on this site that I uploaded when in the states on a fast connection.  Please check back often, as I update and organize them.

As boys get saved, we baptise them in the river in front of our church.

Albertino, our first younger boy, makes his first visit back to his family.

In the beginning, we met with the youth on their turff, the street. Two of these boys have since been murdered.(left & center)

Albertino at 11, & Mario, at 9. Sleeping in a streetside window box in front of the Bufalo resterant.

Our first seven boys. All but one left the street permanantly. Praise God!

Mario, shining shoes in front of the HCS Crissis Center

Some of the first boys at the second HCS Boys Home, along with the teacher, Penny and house parent.

Three brothers who ate with us at night when we were feeding street children at our church in Manaus.

The poor slums behind our church.

Globe, one of our boys, very hard, in front of other boys, but would cry like a small child and sit in my lap.

Tiago,(James) here just 9, and already on the street for 4 years. Tonight he gets a good hot fish meal.

Part of our nightly street youth at our regular feeding program.

Waiting in line to get there supper. These kids, like yours, like to ham it up for a photo.

They look normal enough, but do not let them catch you alone with a neclace, or watch that they could lift.

Tina, with one of our street girls (prostitute) We hope that this year, someone will help us open a home for them.

Home sweet home, life is not very pleasent when you sleep in the trash under bridges, in abandoned buildings, and vacant lots.

Edavan, huffing glue. It keeps the hunger away, and causes a euphoric like high that allows the kids to withdraw from the reality of their harsh life
